LGBTQIA2+ services
Identifying as part of the LGBT2QIA+ community is something to be celebrated— but it can also be a dimension of life that feels vulnerable, unsafe, or deeply confusing.
We live in a heteronormative (read: being ‘straight’ is what is seen as a social norm) society that reinforces outdated ideas of how the person ‘should’ be. In therapy, we work on undoing this internalized system of rigid thinking in ways that allow you to be authentic and embodied.
LGBT2QIA+ therapy may be helpful for you if you feel misunderstood in your relationships, struggle with feeling “queer enough”, you feel uncertain about your identity or who you are. It also may be helpful if you are looking for support with living in a society that perpetuates harmful beliefs, actions, and laws around queerness and gender expansiveness.
Support for queer, trans*, nonbinary, gay, lesbian, bisexual/pansexual, asexual, intersex, gender exploring, gender queer, gender-expansive individuals, and those who are questioning where they fit in in all of it!
Rachael offers support for queer folks living in across South Carolina.
Services also support clients who are exploring or involved in dimensions that are adjacent to queerness, including BDSM/kink, polyamory/ethical non-monogomy, swinging, drag, fursonas, sex work, & more.
